Favorite Place in Bellevue

We all know how hard parenting is, tough job to do so much task to be done every day and even harder when you are traveling or moving into another place. So many essentials to remember for the kids and for the family, from first aid kit to clothes and many more.

Travelling is one of the happiest things and I think the best to do when you are having your vacation. People love to travel and we all have different reasons when traveling like celebrating milestones, or a new chapter in our life or start a new beginning with our family and discover new places, friends, and cultures. Others simply travel for work or leisure.

I always dreamt of waking up in another place, to see and witness another scenery it's like the feeling of me in my favorite movie, it will not be the usual day for me because of so many things to discover and every day is exciting.

One of my favorite places to visit is Bellevue I know you already heard that place, am I right? A city in Washington state, across Lake Washington from Seattle. Before we talk about this place first we must remember that when planning to move to another place there are many things to consider such as:

Plan
Always create a plan year or months before making any big decisions, think about it many times. How long you'll be staying in that place and also your budget because traveling or moving solo and with family is different in many things and most importantly make some research about the place, read some reviews, or ask friend's opinions.

Budget
Continuously remember what amount is your financial plan for the whole excursion. The ticket booking, Passport for every relative, and where the family will remain. For this situation, Give in any event months to spare and all-out all costs before doing such bookings for you to be capable, to summarize, all the costs.

Being Friendly
They say being kind cost you nothing and that is right, so if you are planning to settle down in another country always be friendly, have respect, talk to locals if you have time, or simply smile.

Flavor Pouches

In my previous post, we learned about the pouches and it's benefits as well as other stuff like how easy to use it. Before we jump on its, different flavors let's talk about why people smoke and why it's hard for the smokers to quit because these pouches can help them quit little by little, these can be substitutes.

The desire to smoke was all the more unequivocally connected with outrage, uneasiness, and sharpness in men than in ladies. Sentiments of trouble or weariness were connected with the inclination to smoke in men as it were. At the point when the men smoked they felt less irate and it diminished their sentiments of misery. Most smokers began when they were teenagers. The individuals who have companions or potentially guardians who smoke are bound to begin smoking than the individuals who don't, others just wanted to try what it's like to smoke.

It can be a habit for most and eventually, others can be addicted to smoking, they say it's not easy to quit when you started smoking. There are many ways how to quit smoking but one that is easy for smokers is by switching to pouches of white pre-packed, tobacco-free nicotine. It comes in different tastes to choose from.

Feeling Quitting Smoking?

Some smokers appreciate the custom of smoking. They likewise state that smoking gives them a pleasurable inclination. For certain teenagers, it is an approach to defy their folks. Different teenagers may feel pressure from their companions (peer pressure) furthermore, start smoking as an approach to seem "cool". Some might be displaying a parent's or kin's conduct, and others trust it is an approach to mitigate pressure or fatigue. Regardless of whether you don't think you are going to continue smoking, it is anything but difficult to get "snared" or dependent in view of the nicotine found in all tobacco items.

Beach Vacay Advice That Will Protect Your Kids From The Sun

Think of a family vacation with the kids and memories of frolicking in the sand will spring to mind. You had such an incredible time that you want to repeat the experience over and over again. It’s as if there isn’t anything that can stop you or your loved ones when you’re in a foreign country on a golden, sandy beach. Well, anything but the sun. Unfortunately, UVA and UVB rays tend to be stronger on vacation as destinations are more tropical. That means protecting your children’s skin from burning.

Here’s some advice to help if you are searching for inspiration.

Pack Appropriate Clothing
The clothes in your suitcase will offer the most protection, which means you must bring the right items. Shorts and t-shirts are fundamentals, but they leave a lot of skin exposed to sunlight. With that in mind, when looking at kids' bathers it could be worth buying long-sleeved tees, and board shorts, both of which have more fabric. Shirts are fantastic if you want them to be stylish and practical at the same time. Even SPF shirts and tees are manufactured to reflect the sun’s rays. Patagonia has some of the most rigorous outfits for kids.

And Accessorize
A humble accessory is enough to maintain a healthy amount of sunlight daily. Of course, a snapback is now a staple of most vacationers’ suitcases, but floppy, wide-brimmed hats are more suitable. The size of the brim means it covers everything from their face and head to their neck and shoulders. Sunglasses shouldn’t be dismissed either. Aside from being fashionable, quality shades keep the light out of kids’ eyes, which is vital when their peepers are growing because they’re very sensitive. A tip: don’t buy throwaway ones that last for the vacation. Instead, pick a top brand and splash out a little so that you know the lenses are adequately filtered.

4 Places to Take the Family in Oakland

San Francisco gets all the glory from tourists, but Oakland doesn’t get enough of it. People who cross the Golden Gate Bridge into Oakland have already soaked up enough of the color and culture of San Francisco. But, they’ve only experienced a fraction of the surprises the East Bay Area has to offer.

If you and your family did go the other direction, then you’d see how Oakland is the better option. While San Fran appears big, Oakland is actually the biggest. Oakland boasts a population of over 400,000 people, and that’s not counting the 300,00 tourists who pass through. Not to mention the emerging tech industry. There are so many good places that would make Oakland a great destination for your next family trip. We’ve narrowed it down to the big four.

Established in 1870, Lake Merritt is the oldest nature preserve. The lake itself is a tidal lagoon fed by seawater, making it a perfect place for migrating Canadian geese, snowy egrets, and black cormorants. Merrit is encircled by a scenic 3.2 mile walking path and event areas. Young children will enjoy Children’s Fairyland amusement park. Fairyland has so many fun rides and one-of-a-kind puppet shows that Walt Disney himself used it as inspiration for Disneyland. Also, be on the look-out for the lake’s kaiju mascot, “Merritzilla.”

The Best of Batanes: Top Attractions and Activities for First-Time Visitors

If there’s one Philippine destination that’s a common denominator among all travel bucket lists, it will probably be Batanes. Dubbed as the “Last Frontier of the North,” Batanes boasts a unique culture, welcoming locals, and numerous destinations that almost look too beautiful to be true.

Indeed, Batanes is a place that you have to visit to really appreciate its beauty. The pictures simply don’t do it justice. If you’ve finally booked a Batanes tour package, on the other hand, congratulations! You’re about to see some of the most gorgeous sights you’ve ever seen. Make sure to include these attractions and activities in your itinerary.

Rakuh-a-Payaman
Vast fields of green, clear blue skies with wispy, curling white clouds, and the waters of the Pacific Ocean crashing on the shores. These make the picture-perfect combination that characterizes the breathtaking view of Rakuh-a-Payaman. Also called Marlboro Hills or Marlboro Country due to its resemblance to the cigarette ad’s iconic setting, Rakuh-a-Payaman is perhaps one of the most popular attractions in Batanes. Take a selfie and a panoramic shot or two, then just appreciate the glorious vista with your eyes. It’s so much more beautiful without a screen or lens in the way.

5 Benefits that Vacations Give Families

If you ask me what my favorite memory is as a child, I always say without hesitation the yearly trips I made with my family to the beach for New Years. We would stay in a cabin right across the beach with some friends and I literally lived in my swimsuit for a whole week. We would eat delicious food, build the best sandcastles, go fishing, get dunked by waves every other day, and my dad would take out his guitar and we would sing together.

I’ve always relished those memories and have always thought that my parents gave my sisters and I a valuable gift by taking us on that yearly trip. Now that I’m a mother, I’ve tried to do the same with my children, and I love hearing them reminisce about our trips. And it’s not just the memories, going on vacation as a family has so many other benefits. If you’re thinking about taking a break or need to feel closer to your family,  family travel could be a good option for the following reasons.

How you can handle kids during a long-distance move

moving.jpeg

Moving is mentally and physically exhausting. But it can be quite terrifying for kids. This is because kids function through routine and it is tough for them to feel comfortable in a new neighborhood. Also, children take more time to get accustomed to new surroundings than adults. So, the moving process, understandably, could be a traumatic experience for them to handle. It is equivalent to stepping out of one's comfort zones.

We understand the gravity of such a situation. Hence, we brought up a blog post which will serve as a guideline for the parents. This will help you come up with a plan to deal with children when making the big move.
To begin with, the first step should be to think systematically. How will you break the news to your kids? Yes! You cannot just tell them, "Hey, pack up! We got to move". That is a big no. There has to be a decent approach to this. It is only natural to be vulnerable at such an age and there has to be some way to handle this vulnerability element.

How to Travel With Kids on a Budget

If you’re like many people, the words “kids” and “fun vacation” don’t always go together. As a parent, it can be a challenge to take a fun trip with small children. It requires extra preparation, more travel expenses, and at times, emotional breakdowns in airport terminals. However, traveling with your kids can still be a fun, memorable, way to build lasting bonds with your children. The following suggestions will help you plan a great trip with your kids that won’t break the bank.

1. Rent a House

Hotel rooms can be very expensive, especially when you need multiple beds. If you rent a house or apartment you can often save money, especially if you’re traveling with multiple people. Home sharing sites like Airbnb, VRBO, or FlipKey are a few great places to start to look for deals on accommodations. Plus, you can meet local people who live in the area and know the neighborhoods and destinations that you’re visiting.

2. Pack Lunches for the Day

Eating out can be a huge traveling expense, especially if you have multiple hungry mouths to feed. If you eat out every day with several people you are likely going to be spending a lot. One way to cut down costs is to go to a local grocery store and buy groceries to make sack lunches. This will be much less than paying for restaurant meals, plus you can eat on the go and save time for fun sightseeing activities.

A Mum's Guide to a Safe Road Trip

Moms will be moms, and for a mom, nothing is more sacred than the safety of her kids. This is a rule that governs all aspect of mom’s life, especially travel. When going on a road trip with kids there are so many variables to take into consideration, from vehicle safety to having enough food and drinks, and not to mention the quality of onboard entertainment. Finally, the route you plan to take also needs careful consideration, as you will need to make a sufficient amount of stops along the way. Now let’s go over some of the crucial aspects of a road trip so that you can ensure a safe and comfortable trip for the entire family.

Let’s start with the vehicle

Like most families, you will probably be using the car that you take your kids to school with and that u use to go about your day. Now, the problem that this poses is that you won’t have time to take it to a mechanics shop and wait for a couple of days for it to be ready. For this situation, you can take a page from Australian moms. Australia is a country that is known for great road trip route,s it is no wonder that they are quite skilled in this department. So most moms simply call their local mobile mechanic in Sydney and have them come and do a complete checkup right in their driveway. This saves time, and they can have their car back a lot quicker and continue with the daily schedule and the preparation for the road trip. Great advice, isn’t it? More advice and travel tips from the website Explorersaur .

Next comes the packing
What you pack is of vital importance for having a safe road trip. First of all, you need an emergency medical kit. And no, the one you already have in the car simply won’t do. You need to create one that is best suited for your kid's needs. So the medication they use in case of a cold, their regular anti-allergy meds, and of course don’t forget the ever loved bandaids with cartoons on them. In addition, you should also have some alcohol or antiseptic for wound cleaning and some anti-nausea medications. After you have tackled the first aid kit, remember to pack for all kinds of weather, and if you plan on keeping the AC on in the car consider a tad warmer clothing for your children.

Finally, we come to the food and drinks

You have to set some ground rules when it comes to the amounts. As you know, kids can at times go overboard with what they eat and drink. So let’s start. First, pack enough snacks, but make sure that they are not too salty as your child might want to drink more liquids afterward leading to numerous bathroom breaks which are definitely not the safest option while on the road. In addition, limit their liquid and sugar intake. That way you can stick to the planned schedule, and you can avoid having hyperactive kids in the car. Make sure that the locations you choose for break offer cooked food as well that way you can have at least one cooked meal a day. It is important for your kid's digestion to avoid eating only dry food.

Onboard entertainment

You might be wondering what does this have to do with safety. Well, a lot. If your kids get restless and start jumping off the walls in the car that can endanger your driving and create unsafe road trip conditions. And no matter how well behaved your kids usually are, being in close quarters for a long time can lead them to act out. So having sufficient onboard entertainment is essential for a road trip. Apart from the phones and tablets, consider introducing some books or informative games so as to pass time. Don’t forget to pack some good sing-along music to brighten up the entire atmosphere.

So there you have it, the ideal road trip safety guide for moms. You can customize each aspect of this guide so that it is best suited for your children. It is important that they feel comfortable during the whole trip, and at the same time that you feel secure about your vehicle and the road conditions that await you. The only thing left is to pick a great route, full of exciting sights and make some fun memories with your kids. Enjoy!
