To induce a better sleeping pattern, your body likes to remain a bit cooler and achieve that restorative and deep slumber. However, on the other side, if your room is just too cold, even that's an unfavorable situation. Your sleep would keep breaking on and off. But, with minor adjustments to your sleeping routine and the sleeping area, your body can find the right balance between cool and hot despite the frosty weather outside.
1. Exercise before Bed
Get yourself moving. It'll help you maintain the required body temperature even on a cold night and also help you sleep comfortably. It's like preparing yourself before bedtime. Try simple stretches. Warm yourself up and practice deep breathing.
Stretch your arms up to the ceiling and get them back along your sides. Roll your shoulders back and forth. Keep breathing throughout and repeat the exercise 10-12 times.
