What Could It Mean?
Pain can mean a number of different things, and it all depends on the type of pain that you’re having, and where it’s coming from. So, one of the most common types of pains is backache. We know in the last few weeks, you would have at least heard someone say, ‘my back is hurting!’. Backache can mean a number of different things. It could be anything from how your posture has changed over the years, to something more serious, like an inflammation of the nerves that surround the spine. If you’re an extra sporty person, through either the gym or organized teams, then it might be that you’ve damaged your back through that. People who go to the gym and do heavy lifting have the common problem of a disk in their back bulging or rupturing. It’s a serious problem that can have life-limiting effects if you ignore it!

What Can Be Done About It?
What can be done about it all depends on the problem at hand? So the first thing that you need to do is make a doctors appointment. If the ache has been there for more than three weeks, they recommend that you go, so don’t feel like you’re wasting their time. If it is sports or gym-related illness, they will most likely refer you to a spinal surgeon. A bulging disk is often left alone to heal. But ti all depends on what disk is bulging, and if it’s having any effects on the rest of your body. Some people damage a disk that then leads to it pressing on a nerve, which could lead to pins and needles in the feet and hands!

The Dangers Of Ignoring Pain
The main danger is that leaving it could lead to bigger problems later on in life. The younger people are, the easier it is for our bodies to recover. So if you were ignoring back pain for months, or even years, irreversible damage could be done!
