Wedding Style Fashion Tips

Wedding season is still in full effect which means flying bouquets, champagne toasts and good times with friends and family. Weddings are such a happy time filled with love and laughter but some tend to stress when it comes down to what to wear. I would like to help alleviate some of that stress by sharing with you a few style tips to make getting wedding guest ready, a walk in the park.

There are many wedding styles that require a particular dress code and it is important to take those into consideration while glamming up for your event. Below I have provided you with fashion examples for each of the following wedding categories: Casual, Semi-Formal and Black Tie, in hopes to give you some inspiration. Also, if you ladies want to shop for a wedding outfit this summer then you should check top-tier style - fashion. There you'll find a great selection of dresses, all at reasonable prices.

Casual

Ladies: This is a more relaxing atmosphere so flowy attire is the way to go. Now this doesn’t mean a baggy t-shirt and jeans; I’d recommend a nice dress or a skirt with a blouse paired with comfortable flats or wedges.

Gents: You can’t go wrong by keeping it cazh with a nice button down or polo shirt with a pair of dress pants. Steer clear from sneakers and slip into some nice loafers or dress shoes.

Semiformal

Ladies: Now it’s time to step it up a notch. A nice cocktail dress and some heels will have you looking super chic and ready to take on the night.

Gents: A nice suit and tie is appropriate for this occasion. Quick pointer: make sure you go for darker colors for a night time event and keep it light when it’s bright- it will help you stay true to the theme.

Black Tie

Ladies: Break out the evening gown for this one. Style yourself fabulous in a floor lengthed gown with your best (and most comfortable) heels. Don’t be afraid to accessorize to add some extra pizazz- a little sparkle can go a long way.

Gents: Pull out your best looking tuxedo to get you looking dapper. Regular tie and bow ties are both acceptable and encouraged for this style event. Want to step it up even more? Why not add a cummerbund to your outfit and really spruce things up.

I hope you’ve found these tips helpful. My hope is that they will relieve some of the stress that comes with finding the right outfit for a wedding, or any special event for that matter.
